Arizona State Fair – is a major attraction that comes to Phoenix once a year. This event takes place at the Arizona State Fairgrounds which is located at 19th Ave and McDowell Road. The fair is not one of those events where everyone should try everything as it is very crowded with lots of people trying their best to sell you food, games, goods and services. Bring some cash because there are games that will cost about $5-10 per ticket or game play.
The Phoenix International Auto Show – this event normally occurs in mid February and lasts until the 23rd each year. The location for this auto show is held at the Phoenix Convention Center located on Third Street between Washington and Monroe.
Barret Jackson – The Barrett Jackson Auto Auction is an event that occurs at the beginning of March. If you are interested in looking at some very expensive and high quality cars, trucks and SUVs then this may be a good market for you to attend. This event takes place at WestWorld which is located at 1501 North Pima Road in Phoenix AZ.
McDowell Mountain Music Festival – this event takes place in mid March and is a music festival that lasts for 3 days. This event will include many different forms of art including live rock bands which play throughout the night. Tickets are normally $100 for all three nights if not more depending on when you buy them. It is a good idea to purchase your tickets before they sell out. Holloween Hike – This event is a fun one if you are into taking walks or hikes. During mid October, this event begins and lasts throughout the month. You can participate in this even by hiking at your favorite park and then participating in a seance after wards where you will contact any spirits that may be there with you. Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony – This event takes place in mid November and is a wonderful event for family’s with children. During this event you will have the opportunity to see Santa Claus, have hot chocolate and cookies as well as listen to Christmas music all while watching the lighting of the city tree.
